I know this vid is a year old, but I am new to in ears and my question is rather than a new channel can you show a workable EQ on the P16 that helps reduce occlusion for the vocalist on their P16?

My hearing is shot. I certainly can't hear whatever frequency my wife's irritated speaking tone is. But this was super interesting and I will be crafting a bus eq to sculpt this out for all my wireless IEM bus mixes.

A few things to add about shielded connectors: X32 REQUIRES ethercon because Behringer grounded the shell rather than the side of the RJ45 connector. Additionally, when you have an ethercon with black ends like yours, you need to check if it's conductive. If not, time to scrape some of the coating off and check again. I had to do that on some of mine to properly ground it.

Hi Drew, can you tell me if I can to pan left/right the output in ear monitor master mix? After I setup the all individual channels the master mix out ( what I hear in headphones ) if I can pan left or right? Thanks

Is there any way to listen to Solo through outputs other than Monitor OUT?

If you're going to use compression this dramatic on a vocal, and you don't have a dedicated monitors engineer, it's basically essential that you create separate FOH/Monitor channels for your vocal. Insert the 1176 on the FOH-bound channel and use no (or light) channel compression on the monitors-bound version. You can also make drastically different EQ curves to fight feedback from either sound system. This would probably be a great topic for this video series.

Hi Drew! Thank you for your tutorials, you have given me a lot of very useful knowledge on how to use the X32. In fact thanks to you I have just invested in this mixer. I have an X32 Producer and I recently bought a StageBox S16 for it because I needed more in's and out's. For production purposes I need 16 Out's, unfortunately available on the Routing-XLR site there are only 8 to choose from. How do I make it so I can have the full 16 Out's XLR with Delay settings? I'm trying to configure the monitor outputs to mirror the main outputs directly from the mixer without using the Flow 8 app. Could you please guide me on how to do this using the physical buttons and controls on the mixer? Question for on stage talkbacks…when using a cue mix, how do you get your talkbacks to always be live in your ears? Like a shout box but without having to take your in ears out. Thanks! Another great video!

Our Sanctuary is really short and wide. (It wasn't intended to be, but plans changed back in the 90's when it was built) we are basically stuck with a mono system no matter what. We have it all working, but how would you set up this system? The insert FX being stereo have made some weird things happen.

Would have to be Behringer/Midas best selling entry level console. I have the rack plus the Midas m32 console... I know they're great!

How do you control reverb to the Main Outputs, without effecting the Reverb to the bus sends on the XR 18? If you turn down the effect returns, the effect goes away on the bus’s.

Hi there Drew i was wondering if you could show, how i set up a x32, s32, broadcast, and a translator system, if that is even possible, i need this for my church. Thank you for your videos, they are helping a lot.

Two questions I have, 1. Recomended headphones, as the set I tried using, I just could not get loud enough to be useful during service with main PA running (we run loud services), and 2. I noticed the compressor is kicking in quite a bit on vocals, do you have a video on setting that? I always thought that a compressor should be set to rarely come on during normal use (ie, just when they happen to get really loud, which isn't sustained), and adjust the gain for that.

Thanks for another great video Brother, as well as explaining how the auto dim works. I always thought it was only for the full console but I just set it up on my x32 rack and it worked perfect. Now getting them to give up one of their inputs for the P16, that's a different story. ;-)
